Radiographer – Daytime position in coastal Sweden

<h3>We are currently recruiting two radiographers for a smaller, well-functioning radiology department in coastal central Sweden.</h3><p>This is a long-term opportunity for someone who values modern equipment, close teamwork and a healthy work-life balance, with daytime working hours and no evenings, nights, weekends or public holidays.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The department</strong></p><p>The department is a smaller radiology unit with approximately 10 employees, providing both planned and acute diagnostic imaging in close collaboration with inpatient care and primary care.</p><p>The facilities have recently been modernised and the department works with new technology, including:</p><ul><li>Canon CT</li><li>Samsung conventional X-ray</li><li>Ultrasound</li></ul><p>The team consists of radiographers, assistant nurses, a radiologist and a sonographer.</p><p>There is also close collaboration with a larger radiology department, providing the opportunity to occasionally gain experience in a setting with a higher acute patient flow.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p>The position includes standard duties as a radiographer, primarily within:</p><ul><li>CT</li><li>Conventional radiography</li><li>Planned and acute examinations</li></ul><p>You will work closely with radiographers, radiologists, assistant nurses and other healthcare professionals.</p><p>Working hours are <strong>Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00</strong>. There are <strong>no evening or night shifts, no weekend work, no work on public holidays and no on-call duties</strong>.</p><p>Previous experience as a radiographer is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience with CT and conventional radiography is considered particularly valuable.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>The location</strong></p><p>The hospital is located in a smaller coastal community in central Sweden, with approximately 24,000 inhabitants in the local area.</p><p>The area combines small-town living with close access to the sea, lakes, countryside and an extensive archipelago. It is particularly well suited to those looking for a quieter lifestyle with good opportunities for outdoor activities and family life.</p><p>The area offers access to schools and childcare, as well as good transport connections to larger cities.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>We are looking for a candidate who:</p><ul><li><strong>Holds an EU-recognised qualification as a Radiographer</strong></li><li>The profession must be regulated in the country of qualification</li><li>Currently working in an active clinical role as a radiographer</li><li>Full legal right to practise independently as a radiographer</li><li>Is interested in working with CT and conventional radiography</li><li>Enjoys working as part of a team and has as a professional and patient-centred approach</li><li>Has good communication skills in English</li><li><strong>Is motivated to learn Swedish and adapt to the Swedish healthcare system</strong></li><li><strong>Is interested in establishing a long-term career and life in Sweden</strong></li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Language and relocation</strong></p><p>Swedish language training starts in your home country through individual online lessons with a private teacher.
